The annual 4-H Horse Stampede will be held Saturday, March 16 at the Animal Science Building on UNL East Campus. Stampede is a State 4-H Horse Competition which does not require a horse. 2013 4-H Summer Camp brochures are now available online and at the Extension office. Camps are open to all youth ages 5–18. With three unique Nebraska locations at Halsey, Gretna, and Alma, there are nearly 50 camps ranging from half day to seven days/six nights!
Lancaster County 4-H Council is offering two full scholarships to attend a 4-H summer camp at any of the three Nebraska 4-H Camp locations. Applicants must be age 9 or older and currently in Lancaster County 4-H. Application deadline is May 1 — preference given to applications submitted by March 1.
