4-H Teen Council Invites New Members

At 4-H Teen Council's October meeting, UNL Extension Educator Kim Pickering gave a presentation about entrepreneurship.4-H Teen Council is a leadership organization for youth in grades 7–12. Meetings are held the second Sunday of each month at 3pm at the Lancaster Extension Education Center, 444 Cherrycreek Road, Lincoln. The next meeting will be Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3pm. 4th & 5th Grade Lock-In, Jan. 17–18

The Lock-In includes a sleep over, games, fun projects, snacks and movies!All 4th and 5th graders are invited to 4-H Teen Council’s annual overnight Lock-In, which will be held Friday, Jan. 17, 8 p.m.–Saturday, Jan. 18, 8 a.m. at the Lancaster Extension Education Center. The theme will be "There is No Place Like Nebraska." More details will be posted later.

 

UNL Campus Visits

Visiting campus is the best way to learn first-hand what University of Nebraska-Lincoln has to offer.The University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers a variety of unique campus visit options throughout the year. Red Letter Days are an all-day open house experience for high school seniors (with dates Sept through Dec.). Husker Weekdays are a half-day visit option for students and their guests.
