This year’s Presentations Contest will be Saturday, July 16, 9 a.m. at the Lancaster Extension Education Center. Must preregister by July 11. Open to all 4-H’ers ages 8–18 (4-H age). Need not be enrolled in a specific project. All participants are strongly encouraged to read the handout.
Kath Conroy, a 4-H clothing superintendent, is offering to help 4-H'ers with their sewing projects. Her help sessions will be at Bernina Sewing Studio in the Piedmont Shopping Center on Monday, July 11 through Thursday July 14, 12:30–4 p.m. each day. There is no cost and registration not required.
The Nebraska Department of Agriculture’s (NDA's) Poultry Calendar Photo Contest, open to 4-H/ FFA members, highlights Nebraska's poultry and raises awareness of biosecurity measures for poultry owners. Deadline is July 15.

In the Fashion Show contest (formerly Style Revue), 4-H’ers learn how to present themselves and gain confidence as they model their clothing projects and show proper fit of their clothing. Contest consists of two parts:
1) Judging which is held July 26,
2) Public Show held Aug. 4 during Super Fair

The object of the Make It With Wool Contest is to promote the beauty and versatility of wool fabric and yarn; and to encourage personal creations in sewing, knitting, crocheting, spinning and weaving of wool fabric. The state contest will be Nov. 19 in Lexington. There are youth and adult divisions.
