All 4-H/FFA market beef, market sheep, market goats, market hogs and feeder calves being identified for Nebraska State Fair and AKSARBEN Stock Show will be tagged with an EID tag. Any Lancaster County 4-H’er can participate in the Horse Incentive Program and log hours/points by participating in various horse-related activities Jan. 1–June 30. New this year is an Incentive Point Summary Sheet. You must still hand in your log sheets but total your points on the summary sheet.

All 4th and 5th graders are invited to 4-H Teen Council’s annual overnight Lock-In, which will be held Friday, Jan. 20, 8 p.m.–Saturday, Jan. 21, 8 a.m. This year’s theme will be related to “tourists.” Cost is $15 per person. Registrations due by Jan. 16.

A Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Leader Certification Workshop is scheduled for January in Lincoln. It will be held Jan. 21-22 at the Nebraska Game & Parks Outdoor Education Center in Lincoln. The deadline to register for the Lincoln session is January 11.
