The ESI Capitol Contest will be held at the Nebraska State Capitol on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The ESI Capitol Contest is open to all students in 5th through 9th grade who have completed the 4-H EntrepreneurShip Investigation program or a similar entrepreneurship course offered through their school or community. To compete, students are required to complete an online application which is due Friday, Dec. 15.
Student applications will be judged on the completeness of their application, creative business idea, and narrative that explains their business concept. Only the top 18 applications will qualify to compete at the ESI Capitol Contest.
Students and sponsors will be notified via email of their selection on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017. Student must indicate their acceptance to compete by Friday, Dec. 29, 2017.
