MyPI Disaster Preparedness Program for Teens

mypi_ne_0.jpgMy Preparedness Initiative (MyPI) is a great opportunity for teens wanting to build life saving skill sets! A series of trainings begin Saturday, April 14, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Lancaster Extension Education Center, 444 Cherrycreek Road, Lincoln. The deadline for applications is Saturday, March 31.

Register Your Community Service in April

True-Leaders-in-Service-logo 18.jpgThis April, as part of True Leaders in Service and National Volunteer Appreciation Month, 4‑H’ers across the nation will pledge their hands to larger service. Local 4-H clubs and youth are encouraged to register their community service projects during April.

Kiwanis Karnival is Free, Fun Family Event, April 13

A 4-H Club at 2017 Kiwanis KarnivalFamilies of 4-H members and Elliott Elementary School students are invited to attend the annual Kiwanis Karnival, a FREE family event. Kiwanis Karnival will be held Friday, April 13, 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Elliott Elementary School, 225 S. 25th St., Lincoln. The Karnival features carnival type games for the kids, bingo for adults, prizes, snacks, fun and fellowship. Lincoln Center Kiwanis has sponsored this event for over 50 years — providing prizes and snacks. Come join the fun!
