Join us for an important and powerful panel discussion featuring four Global Studies undergraduates with a strong interest in women, gender, and feminism.
Our goal with this panel is to get the student perspective on transnational feminist issues. These are the perspectives of students who are activists and who have also had international experiences from which they can draw some conclusions about lived experiences of women and the feminist movement. Some of questions we will discuss include:
-What does it mean to be a feminist today?
-How do you navigate being a feminist -- here in the US?
-How do you navigate being a feminist when traveling abroad?
-How has their feminism changed as a result of their global experiences?
