• #UNL24 event is Tuesday, Sept. 24. Faculty, students, staff and alumni around the world are encouraged to participate in this one-day social media surge aimed at collectively telling the story of what it's like to be part of UNL. Share your story of what you're up to that day using the hashtag "#UNL24." Stories will be curated throughout the day and posted on UNL24.unl.edu.
• Robert Schanke (M.A. 1963; Ph.D. 1975) is receiving a Career Achievement Award in Educational Theatre from the Association of Theatre in Higher Education this year. He has also been elected Dean-elect of the College of Fellows of the American Theatre.
• Tom Woldt (Ph.D. 1996) is the new chair and head of the directing program at the University of South Dakota.
• Elizabeth Aleksander (DMA 2009) is Assistant Professor of Clarinet at the University of Tennessee-Martin.
• Justin Richards (B.F.A. Film and New Media 2013) was accepted into UCLA's Master of Fine Arts program in cinematography.
