Sept. 1-6: "Between Mary and Eve," a series of photographic sculptural triptychs exploring the relationship between religion and daily life created by Department of Art and Art History senior Booke Choquette. MEDICI Gallery on the first floor of Richards Hall. A reception with the artist will be held on First Friday, Sept. 5 from 7-8 p.m. in the gallery. Admission is free.

Sept. 5-26: The Nebraska National Unudergraduate Juried Exhibition. Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. An opening reception will be held on First Friday, Sept. 5 from 6-8 p.m. This exhibition will feature the work of the best undergraduate artists from across the country. This year's exhibition features ceramics, photography and printmaking.

Sept. 12: Chiara String Quartet. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets are $20 adults, $10 seniors and $5 for students and are available in advance from the Lied Center Box Office at (402) 472-4747 or (800) 432-3231 or at the door. The fall concert is also part of the Hixson-Lied Concert Series from the Chiara String Quartet. Any two concerts: Adults $35; Seniors $16; Students $8 while any three concerts: Adults $40; Seniors $20; Students $10.

Sept. 16: Faculty Jazz Ensemble. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free.

Sept. 18: Mark Clinton, Piano. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free. This concert will also be webcast. Visit http://music.unl.edu for details. His recital is titled “The Poetry and Passion of the Piano” and includes works by Robert Schumann, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frederic Chopin, Johannes Brahms and Jean Sibelius.

Sept. 22: Jonah Sirota, Viola. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free.
