Feb. 26-28 and March 1: Theatrix: "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Performances Feb. 26-28 at 7:30 p.m. and March 1 at 2 p.m. in the Lab Theatre, 3rd floor of the Temple Building. Feb. 27 and March 1: UNL Opera: "A Wedding." Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. and March 1 at 3 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets: $20 adults, $10 students/seniors. Available in advance from the Lied Center Box Office, (402) 472-4747 or (800) 432-3231 or one hour prior to the show in the Kimball Lobby. "A Wedding" is a comic opera based on Robert Altman's 1978 film and was composed by William Bolcom, who served as the inaugural appointee to the Ariel Bybee Endowed Visiting Professor of Opera in the Glenn Korff School of Music.

Feb. 23-March 18: Artstream Ceramic Library in 120 Richards Hall. Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Artstream Ceramic Library is a social-outreach project whose mission is to connect contemporary functional ceramics with ordinary people. Similar in structure to a literature-based library, the Ceramic Library loans out unique handmade cups made by 13 nationally known potters, for a period of seven days.

March 5-7 and 11-15: University Theatre: "The Skin of Our Teeth" by Thornton Wilder and Directed by Virginia Smith. Howell Theatre in the Temple Building. March 8: Chamber Singers. 3 p.m. Sheldon Museum of Art. Free. "Seasons of Song" will feature the Chamber Singers, the Skyros String Quartet and Dr. Christopher Marks.

March 9: Archaeological Institute of America Lecture: Kenneth Harl. 7:30 p.m. Love Library Auditorium (Rm. 102). Harl is professor of ancient history at Tulane University and one of the foremost experts on Roman coins. His lecture is titled "The Shrine of Zeus and Cybele at Aezanis: The Hellenization and Romanization of Phrygian Cults." Free and open to the public.

March 10: Visiting Artist Lecture: Andrea Dezsö. 5:30 p.m. Richards Hall Rm. 15. Free and open to the public. Dezsö is a visual artist who works across a broad range of media including drawing, painting, artist's books, embroidery, cut paper, animation, sculpture, site-specific installation and public art.

March 10: UNL Jazz Orchestra and UNL Big Band. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets: $5 general and $3 for students/seniors.

March 10: Faculty Recital: Jonah Sirota, viola. 7:30 p.m. Westbrook Music Building Rm. 119. Free. Violist Jonah Sirota of the Chiara String Quartet will be performing an all-Schubert recital, including the Sonata in A minor for Arpeggione and Piano, and the beloved “Trout” Quintet.

March 16-27: Undergraduate Juried Exhibition. Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. A reception will be held on Friday, March 20 from 5-7 p.m. Awards will be presented at 6 p.m. See some of the best undergraduate studio art work from students in the Department of Art and Art History in this annual juried exhibition.

March 18: Chiara String Quartet. 7:30 p.m. UNL College of Law on East Campus. Free. Part of the quartet's annual Hixson-Lied Concert Series. The program, called "Chiara Quartet Plays by Heart on East Campus," will feature works by Bartok and Brahms played by memory.

March 21: Nebraska Sings. 7:30 p.m. Lied Center for Performing Arts, 12th and R sts. Choirs from all over Nebraska, including UNL's Chamber Singers, i2Choir and Nebraska Organization of Vocal Artists (NOVA) unite for the world premiere of "Let There Be Music," a newly commissioned choral work by Glenn Korff School of Music alumnus Kurt Knecht. Join us for this one-of-a-kind event celebrating Nebraska's robust choral community and the Lied Center's 25th anniversary season. March 21-22: Lincoln Assassination Stage Combat Workshop. Temple Building. Cost: $100. This stage combat workshop is sanctioned by the Society of American Fight Directors.
