The Lincoln Assassination Workshop is a stage combat workshop sanctioned by the Society of American Fight Directors that takes place each spring at the Johnny Carson School. It's also a weekend of mayhem, fun, and an incredible learning experience. This year's workshop is March 21-22.
The workshop is the best opportunity in the region for actors to learn safe, effective and exciting depictions of violence on stage or screen. Classes include weapons and unarmed fighting for the stage and screen, gun safety, police tactics, blood tactics, and more. Special focus is also placed on staging and performing fights for film, television and for video games.
Our teachers come from across the country and work in Hollywood, on Broadway and in regional theatres.
