• Continuing through Dec. 16: Capstone Exhibition. Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. Gallery hours: Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. Free admission. A closing reception will be held on Friday, Dec. 16 from 5-7 p.m. Awards will be announced at 6 p.m. The Capstone Exhibition features the work of 21 graduating undergraduate candidates for graphic design and studio art degrees in the School of Art, Art History & Design.

Jan. 14: Midwest Cup. All-day. Lied Center for Performing Arts. The Midwest Cup Show Choir Invitational is a full-day of spectacular vocals and intense choreography. Jan. 18-27: Faculty and Staff Exhibition. Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. A closing reception will be held on First Friday, Feb. 3 from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.

Jan. 19: Hixson-Lied Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture: Aaron Morse. 5:30 p.m. Richards Hall Rm. 15. Free and open to the public. Morse received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati and his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona. He lives and works in Los Angeles, and his work is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Jan. 20-22: Winter Festival for Winds and Percussion. The Winter Festival is a unique concert band and chamber ensemble festibal for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.
