• April 25: Opera Scenes. 4 p.m. Westbrook Music Building Rm. 119. Free and open to the public.

• Cinema 16 presents The Golden Cans Film Festival. 7 p.m. Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center. $5 admission. Presented by the student film organization, Cinema 16, to celebrate student work.

• April 25: ChamberFest. 7:30 p.m. Westbrook Music Building Rm. 119. Free and open to the public.

• April 26: Nebby's. 7 p.m. Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center. The Nebby's is the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film's annual film festival.

• April 26: Campus Band. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets: $5 general admission and $3 students/seniors, available at the door.

• April 27-28: The Clay Club's Spring Sale and the Fine Art Photo Club's Photo Sale. Richards Hall. The Clay Club's sale is in Rm. 118, while the Photo Sale is in Rm. 112. Hours for both sales are Friday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Support the work of our talented student artists in the School of Art, Art History & Design by purchasing their most recent work.

• April 28: Lazzi: Jump-A-Palooza. 7:30 p.m. Lab Theatre, 3rd floor of the Temple Building. Come check out the last time this improv troupe will ever perform together before a brand new group appears next year. Enjoy a night of improvised comedy in a show titled "Jump-A-Palooza: Where the Bounce Never Stops." $5 suggested donation.

• April 30-May 4: Studio Art and Design Capstone Exhibition. Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. A First Friday closing reception will be held on Friday, May 4 from 5-7 p.m. with awards announced at 6 p.m. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.

• May 2: Virginia Smith's "Graduation" Party celebrating her retirement from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film. 4:30-6:30 p.m. Temple Lobby. The public is invited. Smith is Professor of Theatre and has been at Nebraska since 2000. She was the Artistic Director for the Nebraska Repertory Theatre from 2005 to 2014.
