Ten students graduated from the university's BSE program in December and have started reporting career plans.

This column is a new feature of the BSE Announce newsletter, and it will run whenever graduating students or alumni have career news or other updates to report. The column is expected to help BSE students and staff members keep connected and build networks in the workplace.

For this first column, three students who graduated in December reported their plans.

Aaron Engel, who earned a doctorate in engineering with a specialization in biomedical engineering, has taken a position as a Senior Ultrasound Systems Engineer at Siemens in Issaquah, Wash.

Ellen Emmanuel, who earned a master's degree in agricultural and biological systems engineering, has started work as a Program Coordinator II at the Water for Food Institute in Lincoln.

Lauren Wondra, who earned a master's degree in agricultural and biological systems engineering, is getting married in a week and will move to Texas and seek a biomedical engineering position there.
