Call for Proposals for SCIPIE

SCIPIE invites you to participate in the fifth bi-annual SCIPIE conference. One goal of SCIPIE is to conduct bi-annual conferences that allow for extended conversations about innovative research projects and approaches. The emphases of these conferences are on research currently in progress and “sticky problems” that researchers face in their work. The conferences are also intended to provide new scholars and graduate students with opportunities for legitimate participation in conversations about difficult issues and leading-edge research efforts. SCIPIE is not a venue for formal presentations of findings from completed studies.

The next SCIPIE conference will be held November 7-8, 2013, at the University of Arizona. The fifth SCIPIE conference will bring together researchers to examine diverse responses to the question: “How can education researchers take a multidisciplinary approach to enhance our understanding of teaching and learning?”

The full call for participation is available at SCIPIE.ORG. Contact Duane Shell (dshell2@unl.edu) for further information.
