Do you need more file storage? Do you need to access your files from multiple computers and mobile devices? Do you need to share files with your team or external collaborators? File storage is an ongoing issue for most individuals, departments, and grants.

An online storage service, called Box, may be your solution for storage of your files. Think of Box as a secure hard drive in the cloud which allows you to access, share, and collaborate documents. Files stored on Box servers are encrypted, backed up, and hosted in redundant server facilities located in the U.S.

UNL is providing 50 GB of file storage through Box for every faculty, staff, and student. All you need is your my.unl login and password. Follow the steps below to set up access to your Box account.
In a web browser, go to http://box.unl.edu
Click on UNL Box Login
Click on Continue
Log in with your my.unl account (same as Blackboard)
The first time you log in, you will see “Let’s Get Started” and a few tips to give you a brief overview of how to manage your files and folders in Box. In addition, you will see a list of resources in the right hand column of the page.
