Education Student Internship Positions Available

Education Intern Job description:
I am looking for an Education Student Intern to work at the Lied Center beginning as soon as possible. It is anticipated that the person who fills the intern position will continue through the 2014/2015 academic year and into the summer.

The primary goals of the intern are to assist in coordinating educational
activities at the Lied Center. Activities include working with the Kennedy Center Partners in Education program, K-12 teacher workshops and
educational activities for K-12 students, student matinee programs,
curriculum development, and specially-designed arts integration programs
related to Lied Center performances. The intern selected for this position will have interest and skills in writing, communication, trouble-shooting,event coordination, data management and have experience working in schools. He/she will show a willingness to develop skills in this area,and also have an understanding of/or is studying K-12 education. An interest in the performing arts is suggested, but not required. Time commitment is 10-15 hours/week.
