Aphasia Walk - A Big Success

Aphasia Walk
Aphasia Walk

We had a great time Saturday morning, July 11 at the Aphasia Walk with 125 people walking for aphasia awareness. Our Masters degree students in speech language pathology, led by Taylor Behmer, raised over $1600 to initiate a volunteer program that will assist individuals with aphasia to reintegrate back into their communities. The walk was the culminating activity of a month long public awareness campaign during June (Aphasia Awareness Month).

Congratulations to the SLP students for their advocacy and supporting a worthy activity.
