A quick scan of the local news is likely to reveal something about the state’s financial picture. With our state and university budgets making news, today’s College Meeting will be a timely opportunity for faculty and staff to attend a “CEHS Budgeting 101” session. Learn the basic facts about the CEHS budget from 1-3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 17 in the Arbor Suite of the East Campus Union.

CEHS leaders will join Dean Kostelnik to provide an overview of the CEHS budget including state funds, private dollars, grant dollars and more.

  • How do the dollars flow?
  • Where do the funds come from?
  • What does the future look like?

The purpose of this Budgeting 101 refresher is to “help all CEHS faculty and staff understand all things money,” says Dean Kostelnik. “This will be a transparent presentation so we can all be better informed about how the budget works.” The Dean also promises some good news on the money front.
