UNOPA Workshop
The Phoenix: Rising From the Ashes
Presented by Lisa Morehouse
Wednesday, March 29, 2017 - East Campus Union - 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
The myth of the Phoenix, a mythical Arabian bird that lived for centuries, is that it dies and rises from its own ashes. Is it possible for institutions, associations or even individuals to rise where they have fallen? In this session, we are going to use the fabulous think tank of the UNOPA and UAAD membership – each of you—and ask that question of ourselves and our associations. Are you asking, “What’s in it for me?” In this fast paced, interactive session, you will discover tools needed to strengthen your foundation as you develop an action plan of change and opportunity that will help you identify your strengths, as an office professional and as an individual.

Lisa is currently serving as President-Elect of the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP). She will be installed as NAEOP President in July 2017 at the national conference in South Carolina. She is employed by the Lincoln Public Schools, where she serves as Office Manager in the Human Resources Department.

The workshop is free, but registration is required. Contact Lorraine Moon (lmoon1@unl.edu) if you'd like to attend.
