Dallas Doane, a second-year student in the student affairs master’s degree cohort in the Department of Educational Administration, has been awarded the NASPA IV-West Rising Star award in the graduate student category for the state of Nebraska. Doane has served the College of Education and Human Sciences as a graduate assistant working with undergraduate recruitment and is currently working with the advising center. Doane also completed an internship in Nebraska’s First-Year Experience and Transition Program.
“I was honored to have been notified that I was the award recipient,” said Doane, a native of Onawa, Iowa. “I am very thankful for wonderful supervisors, professors, and mentors who nominated me, and I am excited for the NASPA Region IV-W conference and award ceremony in Lincoln this November.”
