Oct. 20 is the final day to register for Dinner & Dialogue.

Today is the final day to register for the CEHS Dinner & Dialogue, formerly the student research fair. It will be held from 4-7 p.m., Nov. 3 at the Nebraska Memorial Union on City Campus. Dinner & Dialogue consists of inter-departmental roundtable conversations followed by dinner.

The goal of the event is authentic dialogue about the work of CEHS situated within a larger societal context. The overarching question that is intended to transcend departmental boundaries: What does it mean to create, lead, access, nourish, develop, prepare, and/or commune in 2017?

Dinner & Dialogue is an effort to promote dialogue across and among the seven CEHS departments. It is funded by the College to highlight student and faculty research and is offered at no cost to students and faculty. Registration is now open for attendees and presenters.

“CEHS Dinner and Dialogue is a terrific opportunity to talk about the research and scholarship you are engaged in, meet other graduate students and faculty who are doing work in education and human sciences, and to make connections with people in different departments,” said Lauren Gatti, assistant professor of Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education and the faculty advisor for the event. “It’s a perfect low-stakes and conversational way to share your work.”
