On Nov. 18, Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design graduate student Md. Rashaduzzaman received this year's International Textile and Apparel Association Marjorie Joseph Fellowship: Outstanding Beginning Doctoral Student Award at the ITAA annual conference in St. Petersburg, Florida. The award includes a $1,000 stipend and is named in honor of Marjorie Joseph, former professor at California State University Northridge, author of numerous textile science articles and books, and the first editor of the Clothing and Textiles Research Journal, ITAA’s primary research dissemination mechanism.
