Our luncheon on Saturday, April 5, will feature Susan Wirth and hands-on learning about Enabling Children’s Nature Connections. Susan will share stories about her outdoor experiences with young children, engage us in nature-learning activities, and inspire our thinking about optimal, outdoor learning environments. This luncheon time will also provide opportunity for CESI members to meet the Board and to advise future CESI business. You can count-on take-away resources for all and door-prizes for most attendees! Susan Wirth serves as Outreach Director for the Nature Explore program, a national initiative designed to help children re-connect with the natural world. Sponsored by Dimensions Educational Research and the Arbor Day Foundations, Susan conducts national workshops, community forums and design consultations to encourage effective outdoor learning environments for children.
