Dare to Care is a campus-wide competitive food drive. The goal of the drive is to collect as much non-perishable food as possible to donate to the Food Bank of Lincoln in order to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need. Any group or person can register to compete including faculty and staff. Groups competing will be invited to a celebration toward the end of Novemeber. Registration is open from October 2nd to October 25th by signing up in the Center for Civic Engagement located in 222 Nebraska Union. Groups will be collecting food from October 26th to November 6th. The drop-off date for the donations will be the week of November 4th.
