Norwood Park Elementary FUN NIGHT Needs Volunteers

This year the Norwood Elementary carnival night called FUN NIGHT is going to be larger and involve greater opportunities for the kids to have fun, which means extra help is needed with operations.

At the minimum, 57 volunteers are needed to help with carnival game operations, and assist group members in the process.

There are some great games, live music, and the parents and families really have a great time.

Norwood Park families are mostly impoverished and struggling through many hurdles. We love giving opportunities to these children, who don't usually get to enjoy the perks of the average students. Would love to see them surrounded by some good role models showing them how people help each other and strive to make a difference.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated. The event is May 8th, 5:00 to 8:30pm, Friday. We are very flexible. Individuals could volunteer for the whole event, or just part of it, before the event for set up, or after for tear down.

Also, if anybody has any talents to incorporate, they are interested in that as well!!

Those volunteering during the serving of the meal, will get a free Hot dog/chips or hamburger/chips meal.
