The Lincoln Salvation Army is seeking volunteers to ring bells outside of various locations throughout the holiday season until Dec. 24 for their kettle program. Hours are from 10am-8pm Monday through Saturday. Proceeds will help Lincoln area families experience a happy and comfortable holiday.

Author, founder, veteran, and scholar Wes Moore will be speaking at the EN Thompson Forum on World Issues on Jan. 19 at 7pm at the Lied Center. Moore will be exploring the issues of social justice, community, leadership, and empowerment. Tickets will be available for free at the Lied Center.
