#HackUNL A 24-hour hackathon event where UNL graduate and undergraduate students come together to find a solution to end online harassment and cyberbullying.

Have you or someone you've known ever been the victim of online harassment or cyberbullying? Did you know that online harassment has become a pretty big problem in our society? According to Pew Research Center, 40% of all Internet users – and 70% of those age 18 to 24 –experience harassment online. While this a pervasive problem plaguing our society, we feel UNL has the resources and bright student minds that can contribute innovative solutions to address this problem!

Would you like to get involved? We are looking for UNL students with a wide variety of skills to participate in #HackUNL! Students who are familiar with coding and graphic designing are always an asset, but so are students who have unique ideas about creating solutions to solving online harassment. In a hackathon environment, you will be placed on a team with people who have a variety of expertise. The ability to collaborate with other minds will be crucial to the success of your project!

Our #HackUNL Leadership Team has put together a series of workshops to help give you all of the information that you will need to be successful in the #HackUNL event!
