The YWCA, Nebraska Appleseed and the Women’s Foundation will host a CIVICS ACADEMY on Wednesday, April 26. Participants will meet and interact with a panel of local leaders and elected officials to learn more about our community and how to engage locally. Whether there is an issue you care about, a concern in your neighborhood or perhaps you have an interest in running for office, this is an opportunity to learn how you can use your voice effectively.
