Hour of Code

Hour of Code
Hour of Code

Calling all students! All majors can participate!

Hour of Code, the "largest learning event in history", is taking place this week as part of Computer Science Education Week. The organization's goal is to have 100 million students worldwide do an hour of code by the end of this year.

An hour of code is an activity for which students can choose from a variety of self-guided tutorials. They should sign up at http://hourofcode.com.

There is no experience needed, as it runs from Kindergarten up. Students may learn basic programming concepts on a computer, tablet, smartphone or without a device whatsoever. There are only four days left, so hurry!
