UNL's School of Biological Sciences & Center for Plant Science Innovation is looking for CSE undergraduates interested in Bioinformatics Web Programming. The primary responsibility will be to develop their bioinformatics project website.

Depending on his/her interests, the student will have flexibility in designing the web interface and database for integrated data visualization and can be involved with developing data mining tools. The project involves next-generation sequencing data analysis of multiple plant genomes (de novo assembly, transcriptomic analysis, functional analysis, gene networks).

Ample research opportunities (e.g., UCARE application, Independent Study) exist for enthusiastic undergraduate students. Pay is starting at $10/hour or higher.
