Cargill has launched the 2016 application cycle of the Cargill Global Scholars Program. Current first and second year undergraduates enrolled at University of Nebraska-Lincoln who demonstrate exemplary academic achievement, leadership potential, and are studying in a field relevant to Cargill’s world of food, agriculture, and risk management are eligible to apply.

In addition to an annual scholarship award of $2,500 for up to two years, the Cargill Global Scholars Program provides leadership development opportunities through seminars, networking events, and a one-on-one mentoring program with executives from Cargill. These enrichment activities have been designed to help foster and enhance the Cargill Global Scholars’ leadership potential and critical thinking skills, and equip them with the tools necessary for becoming global leaders and decisions makers.

In the United States 10 scholarships will be awarded during the 2016 academic year.

Students specializing in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
-Agriculture Related Field
-Business
-Computer Science
-Economics
-Engineering
-Food Science
-International Relations
-Political Science
-Public Policy
