Network Data Mining Software Developer

Seeking a junior researcher/programmer to develop software that will be used to analyze the social networks data collected. The applicant must have prior experience writing procedural and object-oriented programs in Java or C# in the context of coursework or independent projects. The ideal candidate will a strong interest and/or some experience with one or more of the following: mathematical analysis, graph theory, networks, algorithms, data structures, machine learning, UX design and testing, third-party APIs, writing analytic software, and sociological research.

Android App Developer

Seeking a junior researcher/programmer to develop a Android cell phone app that will be used to deliver dynamic surveys to users and aggregate users’ responses to a central server. The project’s novel approach incorporates a custom runtime environment capable of context-sensitive rules and logic. The app will integrate with a back-end web service hosted on Amazon to be part of a large distributed system. The applicant must have prior experience writing procedural and object-oriented programs in Java in the context of coursework or independent projects, and some exposure to Android programming. The ideal candidate will a strong interest and/or some experience with one or more of the following: Android software development, UX design and testing, third-party APIs, writing social and mobile apps, and sociological research.

C#/NET/ASP Web Service Developer

Seeking a junior researcher/programmer to develop a novel web service that will be used to serve and aggregate dynamic surveys (to a custom app) on user cellphones. The novel approach incorporates a custom environment capable of updating survey rules and logic. The web service will be hosted on Amazon to be part of a large distributed system. The applicant must have prior experience writing procedural and object-oriented programs in C# in the context of coursework or independent projects. The ideal candidate will a strong interest and/or some experience with one or more of the following: Visual Studio, .NET 4.6, ASP 4.6, .NET Core, Mono, MVC, SQL, NoSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Amazon web services, UX design and testing, third-party APIs, writing web services, and sociological research.
