Students applying for financial aid are encouraged to attend one of the free FAFSA Filing Workshops in the months of October and November to receive assistance in filing the current FAFSA.
Workshops will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center on the second floor in room 211 on the following dates:
Today, Oct. 19
Tuesday, Oct. 25
Wednesday, Oct. 26
Tuesday, Nov. 1
Wednesday, Nov. 2
What should students bring?
• Your Social Security Number
• Your 2015 federal tax information, including W-2s
• Access to your bank statements & records
• Your FSA ID to sign electronically
Most students will also need parent information to file the FAFSA. Try to have your parent available by phone if you have questions and your parent can sign the FAFSA online at a later time or from home.
