Professors Lisong Xu and Sebastian Elbaum are looking for an undergraduate student to participate in an interesting and cutting-edge NSF research project on automated testing and verification of network protocols. For example, if you have an Android smartphone, we have just found several bugs in the TCP protocol of Android, which is the protocol used for browsing web-pages and sending/receiving emails.

The student will work with the professors and other students in the project starting from Spring/Summer 2018, and may continue to the fall semester. The student will be supported by UCARE and/or NSF.

If you are interested, please email your resume to Prof. Lisong Xu at xu@cse.un.edu with subject "UCARE/NSF Summer 2018." In your resume, please list the courses that you have taken with your grades, your GPA, and your programming experiences, especially in C/C++/Linux.
