GC Image, LLC, seeks to hire software developers for full-time positions at its offices in Lincoln, Nebraska’s downtown Haymarket District.
GC Image is the global leader in software for multidimensional chromatography and mass spectrometry. The company's scientific software has advanced tools for multidimensional, multispectral data visualization, processing, analysis, and informatics. We have customers in countries throughout Europe, North and South America, East and Southeast Asia and Australia, South Asia, South Africa, and the Arabian Gulf.
The GC Image software development team is engaged in state-of-the-art research and development of data analytics and cheminformatics methods and software. The National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health have funded its development of innovative informatics for pattern recognition, e.g., data analytics to discover metabolomic biomarkers indicative of health and disease states.
Applicants should have a bachelors degree in computer science or a related field with equivalent software development expertise. They should also have a background that includes Java, GUI development, image processing, computer graphics, and/or chemistry is a plus, but is not required.
