Good day to our great Nebraska Mathematics Educators! As you may have heard, English Language Arts, Math, and Science content specialists at NDE have collaborated with the Assessment team to develop an application for Nebraska educators wishing to participate in assessment development activities.
The primary purpose of the application is to ensure our item creators and reviewers represent the broad population of students across the state. The secondary purpose of the application is to ensure we are engaging as many educators as possible in this important work. By sharing out the application to a wider audience of Nebraska educators, we hope to build up a database of individuals who can share their expertise with revised 2015 mathematics standards and indicators. The application will remain open indefinitely, as assessment development is an ongoing effort.
