E-Week, a tradition at UNL since 1913, is a week of activities for current students on both campuses (Lincoln and Omaha). It will run Monday through Friday in conjunction with National Engineers Week and offer food, fun and games.

LINCOLN EVENTS

• MONDAY: Only engineering students may participate in E-Week activities, with the exception of the Tailgate Kickoff Party, which runs from 6-8 p.m. in the City Union Ballroom. Food, games, music and more will be provided.

• MONDAY AND TUESDAY: The Quiz Bowl will be held Monday and Tuesday in Nebraska Hall. Prizes to the first-place ($200) and second-place ($100) teams. Round 1 is Monday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and Round 2 is Tuesday from 4-5 p.m.

• TUESDAY: Breakfast will be hosted by the Durham School from 9-11 a.m. in the Nebraska Hall second-floor stairwell by the ESS Office.

• TUESDAY: The Qdoba Burrito Eating Competition will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Nebraka Hall second-floor large study area. It is limited to 20 participants. Top winners will receive coupons.

• TUESDAY: A Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournament will start at 6 p.m. in the Nebraka Hall second-floor large study area, with prizes of $100 for first place, $50 for second and $25 for third.

• WEDNESDAY: All-you-can-eat pancakes served by your favorite faculty members during the Faculty Flip from 9-11 a.m. in the first floor lobby in Othmer Hall and also in Chase Hall.

• WEDNESDAY: At 7:30 p.m. is the Ultimate Engineer Pageant at the City Union Ballroom. First-place prize is $200 and second-place is $100.

• THURSDAY: The NPPD Laser Tag event will run 5-7 p.m. at the Mabel Lee Gymnasium, with $100 to first place.

• FRIDAY: A bowling outing will take place from 6-9 p.m. at the East Campus Union, with food, raffles and a DJ.

A limited number of E-Week T-shirts will be given out free to students attending E-Week events. T-shirts will also be sold for $5 at the E-Day Open House on April 17.

OMAHA EVENTS

• MONDAY: Pancake breakfast sponsored by the Durham School from 9-11 a.m. in the PKI Atrium.

• MONDAY: All About That B.A.S. (Building Automated System) Demonstration from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the PKI Atrium. Explore how a building's HVAC system works on the mobile B.A.S.

• MONDAY: 3D AutoCAD Competition, 5-7 p.m. in the PKI Atrium and PKI 248. Registration is required.

• TUESDAY: $5 Late Lunches in the Scott Hall Cafeteria from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

• TUESDAY: Holland Performing Arts Center Tour, at 5:15 p.m. Registration is required and those interested are asked to meet in the PKI Atrium to carpool.

• WEDNESDAY: Battle Bots Competition will be held at 11 a.m. in the PKI Atrium.

• THURSDAY: Burrito Eating Competition at noon in PKI 158. Free chips and salsa. Competitor registration is encouraged.

• THURSDAY: Family Feud Game Show Night at 6 p.m. in PKI 158. E-Week Raffle prizes will be awarded during the game show (winners must be present to collect prizes). Team registration is required. Raising Cane's will be served at 5:30 p.m.

• FRIDAY: Gladiator Pedestal Jousting, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the PKI Atrium. For $2 or a canned food item, you can joust against a friend, engineering professor or a staff member. All proceeds benefit Project Hope, Inc.

• FRIDAY: Network Your Way to Success Student Workshop, 5 p.m., PKI 150. This is a preparatory workshop for the Industry/Student Mixer.

• FRIDAY: Industry/Student Mixer, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in PKI 158. Registration is required.

• SATURDAY: PKI Explore Innovation Open house from 1-3 p.m. at PKI.
