Engineering career development seminar class comes to Omaha in fall 2015

Preparing for internships and life in the professional world is not something best done on your own.

Engineering 200, a seven-week, pass/no-pass, 0-credit hour course is being offered on the Omaha campus in the fall of 2015. This seminar, a great opportunity for sophomores and juniors, will be offered on Wednesdays from 3-3:50 p.m. in PKI 153.

Engineering 200 as a means to help engineering students prepare for internships and other professional experiences by engaging students in career development activities, including:

* Developing a professional resume and cover letter;

* Enhancing your interview skills;

* Preparing for fall career fairs;

* Learning about career resources;

* Conducting a job search; and

* Hearing advice from industry professionals.
