eSAB taking 2016-17 membership applications

Applications for membership on the 2016-17 Engineering Student Advisory Board (eSAB) are now available.

eSAB is made up of undergraduate students who represent every department and work directly with the deans, faculty, staff, alumni and students to enact changes and improvements within the college.

Members select committees they would like to be involved with each year. On these committees, members plan and participate in events geared towards their interests. In addition, eSAB plans various events throughout the year such as Rock the Block (which is Wednesday, Aug. 24).

Also, eSAB represents UNL as one of more than 50 universities across the nation who are members of the National Association of Engineering Student Councils (NAESC), one of the few student-run non-profit organizations in the country. As a member of NAESC, eSAB attends various conferences and events throughout the country and attendance to these events is only available through membership.

If you are interested in applying for membership with eSAB, go to http://go.unl.edu/v67w. The deadline to apply is Friday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m.

If you have any questions, email Alison Manske at engineeringsab@gmail.com or talk to an eSAB member at Rock the Block or the upcoming Engineering Student Involvement Fair.
