Teaching Award nominations due March 6

Monday, March 6 is the deadline for College of Engineering students in Lincoln and Omaha to nominate faculty for the new Tau Beta Pi Distinguished Teaching Award.

All College of Engineering faculty are eligible to be nominated. Previous winners are ineligible for the 2017 honor. Ben Terry, professor of mechanical and materials engineering, was the 2016 winner.

Once nominations are received, TBP members will choose the top three or four candidates. In mid-March, all students will have the opportunity to vote online among those choices and the winner will be presented with a cash award and trophy in mid-April.
