The Senior Design Showcase, Nebraska’s premier undergraduate engineering student design event, will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium's East Stadium Club Level, overlooking Nebraska's iconic football field.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Senior Design Showcase is free to the university community and the public. By attending the showcase, all event guests can browse the new and innovative projects from graduating College of Engineering students and vote on their favorite project for the People's Choice Award.

The Senior Design Showcase features 46 student team projects that reflect real-world professional environments. In some cases, students have collaborated with industry clients to develop products and devices that will have immediate impacts.

The Showcase will also offer three tours:

* Olympic bobsled gold medalist and former Husker football player Curt Tomasevicz will guide visitors through the Nebraska Athletic Performance Laboratory (NAPL) in East Stadium. Tomasevicz is conducting research in NAPL as he works toward a Ph.D. in biological systems engineering.

* Engineering Ambassadors will show visitors labs and facilities in the engineering complex on the City Campus.

* Visitors will also have the opportunity for a brief tour of Memorial Stadium.
