Gary Krause, associate professor of civil engineering, and Angela Pannier, associate professor of biological systems engineering, were chosen as co-winners of the Tau Beta Pi Distinguished Teaching Award.

Both Krause and Pannier would like to express their gratitude at receiving this honor.

* Krause writes: "Thank you to all the engineering students who organized and voted in this Year’s Tau Beta Pi Distinguished Teaching Award. It is an honor to receive any teaching award but it is very special to receive one that is voted on by students. – Dr. Gary L. Krause"

* Pannier writes: "I would like to thank the members of Tau Beta Pi and all the engineering students for presenting me the TBP Distinguished Award! There is no greater honor for a professor than to be given an award from students and word can’t express how much this award means to me. It is a privilege to be a professor to wonderful students like we have here at UNL. Go Big Red!"
