Alternative Spring Break: service project trip volunteers needed

The Center for Civic Engagement is seeking volunteers for alternative service break trips planned for UNL's spring break, March 17-22. The trips are open to faculty, staff and students.

Options include caring for children at a homeless Head Start program in Kansas City, Mo.; helping restore a camp for children with HIV and AIDS in Minneapolis; or providing elementary academic support in Pine Ridge, S.D.

Information sessions are 4:30 p.m., Jan. 31; noon, Feb. 1; and 5 p.m., Feb. 2 in the Center for Civic Engagement, Nebraska Union, room 222.
