Roger Hoy received the 2011 Evelyn E. Rosentrater Standards Award from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.
Hoy, a professor in biological systems engineering, is director of the Nebraska Tractor Test Lab.
The award is given to encourage and recognize individuals who contribute exemplary leadership and service toward the generation, maintenance and administration of ASABE standards activities.
Through the Cooperative Standards Program, participants offer their knowledge and experience to develop and maintain standards and engineering practices for agricultural, food and other bioresource industries.
Hoy has been actively involved in leadership within ASABE and other organizations.
