Steps to simplify the 2012-2013 Financial Aid Application Process
1. File your 2011 tax return electronically.
2. File the 2012-2013 FAFSA using the IRS data retrieval process (IRS data will be available two weeks after filing your tax return electronically).
3. Complete Steps 1 & 2 prior to April 1, 2012.
4. If selected for verification by our office, and the IRS data retrieval was used, we will not need a copy of your tax return (this applies to most students/parents).
