About the position:
The primary responsibility of this position will be to produce quality and accurate product videos for numerous brands sold on VMInnovations.com for purpose of inspiring buyers to make an educated purchasing decision. Organize, facilitate, edit and post product videos to product pages and listings with or without script. Product videos are 1-2 minute overviews of product specifications and uses. Must be able to work well in a group to collaborate on projects for maximum efficiency and turn-out.
Requirements:
- Junior/Senior status with Cinematography, Video, Film Production, Broadcasting major
- Excellent problem solver, creative thinker & a self-starter with positive attitude
- Highly proficient with YouTube and Vimeo uploading standards
- Experience with DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) cameras that have interchangeable lenses
- Ability to set up microphones
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe PhotoShop, Apple iMovie is required
- Strong writing skills preferred
- Ability to handle basic video and audio editing
- Reliable with excellent written and oral communication skills
- High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
Responsibilities:
-Assist in planning meetings
-Prepping set, equipment, product and spokesperson for shoots
-Writing scripts that include all important product information in an organized and concise manner
-Develop understanding of how to most efficiently complete product videos
-Understand basic business processes of the Company
-Write and edit guest blog posts
-Additional various tasks
