Business analyst/communications position in Omaha

Communication Management 50%

Oversees and executes the development of communication tools, projects which require an integrated knowledge of ISD functions and issues.

Provides judgment and decision making in order to recommend, plan and execute communication programs to a certain set of objectives continuously promoting the interests and well-being of the company.

Build and maintain constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating CSG’s Competencies and Core Values.

Will assume a 24x7 on call for purposes of managing the ISD’s external communications during global outages, and responsible for communicating client feedback via those platforms back to the Major Incident Management team and/or the ISD Management team.

Project Management 40%

Manages the development and/or implementation of products and/or services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing solutions owned by the ISD. Creates project plans and directs schedules. Monitors project from inception through delivery. The Communications Project manager will manage Medium to Large projects supporting ISD initiatives. Projects are managed with a standard set of methods, documents and reporting tools. Communications Project Manager will be responsible for providing governance throughout the entire project lifecycle, including: Project proposal, planning, execution, facilitation and management reporting.

Reporting 10%

Provide internal and external support for information, reporting, configuration and data mining within the ISD. The role will be expected to produce weekly & monthly metrics to support Major Incident/Problem Mgmt. team and project tracking. They will be responsible for development, analyze, and trend data for tracking all requested activity. Develops and maintains team metrics templates. Provides demonstrations, technical expertise and training to MIM/PM team.

Design, test and document requested reports and/or queries using SharePoint technologies, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL Server and Remedy Dashboard & Analytics. Assure the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree Equivalent Experience required. Ideal skills include: Ability to travel and work non-standard hours as required. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines and handle multiple projects. Basic knowledge of office software including Word and Excel.
