HuskerVision is looking for student interns!

If you are interested in working in the creative, fast paced world of college athletic video production please plan to attend an informational meeting on becoming a HuskerVision student staff member for the 2014-15 school year. Experience is preferred, but not necessary, so younger students are able to apply!

HuskerVision is the production arm of the University of Nebraska’s Athletic Department, working side by side with all varsity sports including football, basketball, baseball, and volleyball. Student workers will receive hands on training with professional camera and editing equipment, as well as gain real world experience in live event productions while working in a fun environment. Most people probably know us from the big screens in the FB stadium and the famous tunnel walk!

HuskerVision also works closely with the Big Ten Network. Students will have the chance to work as production staff for games aired nationally on the Big Ten Network as well as over the internet on BigTenNetwork.com.

Past students have gone on to work for major production facilities, including The Toyota Center in Houston, The Kansas City Chiefs, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, The US Olympic Committee, MTV in New York, Rock Chalk Video at Kansas University.

Two application meetings will be held for anyone interested in learning more about HuskerVision or to submit an application. They will be held at the dates and times below.

Tuesday April 15th, 4:00 p.m. in West Memorial Stadium

Wednesday April 16th, 4:00 p.m. in West Memorial Stadium

If you are unable to attend either of the information sessions, please email me for an application. Also email or call if you have any questions. Applications will be due by April 17th, 2014.
