Openings in Newspapers/Wires at Omaha World-Herald

The Omaha World-Herald is looking for a features GA reporter who is not only curious but an idea machine. We need someone who can write with voice about a variety of topics, including home decorating and improvement/landscaping, fashion and style. Stories will include longer enterprise pieces worthy of 1A and daily quick-hits.


Skills/key characteristics: Curiosity, ability to emerge yourself into a new community, build strong sources and recognize trends. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Ability to generate creative and engaging ideas. Interest in fashion and decorating a plus. Must be active on social media.

Requirements: Prefer at least one to three years of experience working at a daily newspaper. Will consider recent grads with strong internships.
